Should You Buy the Robomow?

Robomow lawn mowers make your mowing experience more convenient by going about their job automatically while you relax. Any lawn or garden that can be mowed with a push mower or electric mowed can also be effectively mowed by a Robomow product. Robomow products all use grass-cycling, which is a technique that leaves the grass clippings on the lawn for fertilizer.

There are four different models of Robomow available that can assist you in mowing your lawn. There is the automatic mower RM400, which leaves the home station on scheduled days and times, then returns to the home station one the task is complete. The RM400 begins charging as soon as it makes its way back to the home station.

Robomow has an RL850 for lawns up to 10,700 sq ft in size, and an RL1000 for lawns between 12,900 and 17,200 sq ft. Which size model you need may depend upon the type of grass and lawn conditions in your mowing space. The RL1000 is the top of the line model that was designed specifically for large domestic lawns.

For larger lawns, customers can use the RL850 model, which is designed for lawns up to 10,700 sq ft, or the top of the line RL1000 model, which is for lawns between 12,900 and 17,200 sq ft. Which model you choose will depend on the type of grass and lawn condition in your mowing area. Both the RL850 and the RL1000 weight around 50 pounds, are 35 inches long, 26 inches wide, and 12.5 inches high. Instead of the one-blade system, these high-powered machines have a three-blade mulching system and can handle grass up to 1.75 to 3.25 inches or they can go as low as 1-1.25 inches with the low-cut blades.

The Robomow RL1000 and the RM400 models sound a buzzer exactly five minutes before they begin mowing so the mowing area can be properly cleaned. These models also have security options that prevent children from operating the machine called “child guard.” They have a sensor that stops the blades whenever the machine is lifted and bumpers which have enclosed touch sensors.

Robomow products are very affordable, with prices ranging from $1200 to $1500. They are available at Sears, Sam’s Club, Target, Probotics, Palomar Robotics, Mowers Direct, Custobots, Evirobotics, Protech Robotics, amazon.com, and their own website, Robomow.com.
