Garden Studios In Beautiful Settings
Maybe it doesn’t seem appealing to you to have a garden studio in the vicinity of some beautiful Victorian mansions because, in spite of the picturesque settings, their parks and lawns look too well-tended and too rational, and domesticated nature is not exactly that genuine nature lovers would have. History lovers would be the ones enchanted by such palaces. But most people couldn’t separate picturesque from romantic and, therefore, if they could stand such a mansion at all, that should resemble rather the one owned by Mr. Rochester from ‘Jane Eyre’, with its thorny trees full of crow nests and its natural orchard in the backyard, fragrant and mouth-watering in late summer.
But while shy of grandeur, you wouldn’t refuse the idea of having a garden studio by the sea, like the one in Jane Austen’s ‘Sense and Sensibility’, just perfectly placed, with the stream nearby and the tortuous hill paths leading to it from all directions. And in spite of the strong winds, if you are fond of beautiful settings, you would like one at Wuthering Heights as well, in that immense moorland, among fragile flowers and hidden bird nests. And what would you say about the one in the Wicklow Mountains National Park, looking stunning in the shots from the movie ‘P.S. I Love You!’ with its incredibly colored flowers among the lush greenery.
Usually, people perceive as picturesque everything in connection with the sea, the mountains or greenery. They would be rather spared of having to live in a hut in the snow and with no facilities, but they would definitely like a garden studio in some exquisite mountainous surroundings like the ones appearing in the movie ‘The Sound of Music’, so suitable for romance; or somewhere having the view of romantic castles in ruins by some noisy steamy waters.
If you desire your surroundings to be romantic through and through, you couldn’t choose better than a lakeside somewhere in The Netherlands, having the view of the windmills at a distance and of some elegant swans gliding as it were under your window on the dark waters.
But the picturesque place where to have a garden studio erected doesn’t have to be a sightseeing legend. Any tiny village would do, if placed in the middle of some spectacular sights. The essential thing is that, by living in a garden studio there, you could feel at home and not as a passing by tourist.
A garden studio is an optimal solution for additional living space, this multifunctional construction is also adjustable and versatile over time.
