Inexpensive And Really Worth Every Penny – Little Wonder Lawn Edger Critique

I do not recommend this product, and recommend getting a gas edger instead. I wish I had never gotten it and am now looking for a decent edger that can do the job. This edger works great and is inexpensive. Easy to assemble and sturdy enough to do the job.

The blade would still spin but I would get build-up in the protective shield around it. Cleaning it out was a piece of cake.

This lightweight edger worked well out of the box, but there is no way to tell on this page that it was built for users much shorter than I am. At 6’5″ it’s not very comfortable to work with. My husband had never edged before, doesn’t like anything not gas operated; but even he said the same thing. I would recommend it to anyone.

I am in a newer community and I discovered that there are many rocks along the edge of the pavement and my yard. The edge hog threw one of these rocks toward my neighbor’s house, and almost hit her and could have easily shattered a window were her car in the driveway. You should also be aware that things will get pretty messy when you’re using it as the dirt that’s being displaced is flung at high speeds in a forward direction. Of course, there’s really no way of getting around this when you’re edging or creating trenches.

I was looking at gas edgers, and am so glad I bought this model. Just make sure you buy plenty of electric cord.

Good & handy Tool – The price could have been more competitive for what it does. This is a great machine. It wasn’t very loud either. I will have to purchase a longer extension cord since I had to use two of them to reach all the areas we needed to edge.

My Husband has been looking to buy this, but kept putting it off. He is very happy with it and neighbors even say they see him in the yard “playing”. In other words, you need another edger to compliment this one in the tight spots. Good build quality, good power but, I used to own a Ryobi gas-powered string trimmer.

Purchased to replace a weed eater edger that was 15 years old and had gone on to wherever old worn out weed eaters go. Used it today for first time and found it to be superior to the aged weed eater product. It tends to pass thru thick clumps of grass instead of cutting thru them. I find I have to pull the cut grass after I pass thru. Easy to handle -Cuts like a gem- actually fired the lawn man this make it so easy, yeah for saving money on an easy to use lawn tool. This is my second summer with this edger and I have no major complaints.

This is the best electric edger you can buy. landscaping trailers.
