Awesome Product, Love It – Lawn Mower Edger Critique

We have shopped for about a year for one of these and we definitely made the right decision. I hate yard work, so I got this for faster work and it is, has held up good over a year. But the end result was worth it! My yard looks great. I would tear up electric edgers about once a year. I was ready for gas this time but got a nice deal on one of these so I thought I’d give an electric one more try. I gave this four stars because it works extremely well for edging on a regular basis. It does not, however, work well on heavy overgrowth.

I am learning how to dig a trench and get better with the edging. You will like how easy it is to handle.

Just point and start! This edger probably works find for light work in sandy soils.

I hit a few, and it caused no problems! We now know we will be getting more use out of this tool in the future. I really like this edger. Although I have a lot to edge (a corner lot with two driveways, one to basement and one the main driveway) I still like this one.

If I hadn’t bought this product, I’d still have this project to look forward to next weekend. The Edge Hog works great. It cuts through tough grass easily because of the motor amp. The only thing I did not like about this product is the blade. This was our second purchase of this edger. Our first edger lasted over 8 years and was used and abused until it finally gave up.

There were a few areas that he had to go over again, but it did a wonderful job on the first past. It is relatively light and easy to use. Does a fantastic job with regular edging; landscape edging is good but not great. The edger seems to work fine.

Swept the debris again. Then with the edge guide lowered, repeated it with 1-1/4″ depth, and again with 1-1/2″ depth. It was ten dollars cheaper than the lowest retail price I could find locally and I did not have to pay shipping or taxes so it was a great deal all around. The best part is that I love this edger!

I can’t imagine preferring that over the Edge Hog’s solid cutting blade. Patio Landscaping.
